Jesus Christ was born on the 25th December.
However many people don't believe in Him.
Reindeer and bells are two symbols of Christmas.
If Christmas threes weren't decorated, it would be a sad Christmas Eve.
Streets are decorated with colourful lights.
Turkey and codfish are usual foods.
Many people travel to spend the day with their family.
More than a million people receive or give presents to one another.
Snow is the typical weather in many countries.
December is the month for this celebration.
There's always someone telling some stories
You have a wonderful Christmas!

Class work on Ecotourism

What the students of the two classgroups - 11º A and 11º B - did on Ecotourism is to be seen at school!
Such interesting leaflets couldn't be hidden from the public eye!
Here are the pictures of the little exhibition that is worth at least a glance.

Playing with Christmas vocabulary

As Christmas is near and we are living Advent time,

I gave the Pepperones some pleasant (at least I take it as such!) task like playing with words related with this Season.
I divided the classgroup up to the way they're sitting in the classroom and gave them words whose letters they would have to use to reach other words or to begin a sentence.

There are very nice productions
and
although they tend to be repeated, I'll publish them all.

Flávia will be the very first:

Children
Halleluia! Christmas has arrived!
Rudolph is the best reindeer Santa Claus has
It 's a day of dreams
Surprise
The Christmas Star
Manger
Almost all children are happy
Santa Claus
P
eace
Reindeer
Elves
Solidarity
Everybody is happy
Not every child gets presents
Twenty-fifth of December
Snow

João Pedro will be the next one.

(I'm surprised with this one as he is not so ... how can I say it? ... so childish any longer as I thought he'd go on being! Perhaps because I started my own sort of "buttering up" and he let it go! Perhaps!... Or it's just apparently for the marks! We never know!)

Christmas Eve is an important night
Happiness
Receiving some presents
It's a calm moment for the whole family
Snow is falling
The Christmas tree is twinkling
Midnight Mass
All the family is together
Sharing that moment with our parents, that's good.

Eating some fries
Very enjoyable evening
Eating turkey

Flávio's turn now :

Snow
Angels
Non-violence

Turkey
All presents made by him are fun

Christmas Eve

Universe - Santa Claus is known all over the world
Sunday - Christmas Eve is on a Sunday this year

Praising - 8

Simão is the brat!
This year he's just going through a naughty adolescence crisis.
He enjoys a good laugh and he's got a clumsy way for the time being.
He's very nice in his way of doing things...that actually shouldn't be done where he tries them and he knows how to melt stone hearts !
Opposite to this misbehaviour he is fighting hard for keeping up with good grades
and I know he understands the real meaning of responsibility.
I don't think his classmates would be able to survive without him.
Well.. at least I wouldn't do without him although I keep telling him off.
People say when there's love, there's grumbling too.
And I do agree with it!
He knows well enough the sort of feeling I have for him!

Diogo "go-go" opens his heart

Falling in love in adolescence

On one hand, love in the adolescence is very good to teenagers,
but
on the other hand it is bad,
specially when teenagers are in love
because
they only think about love or their girlfriend or boyfriend.
During classes when teenagers are in love,
they are always on the moon,
they don’t concentrate themselves on the studies and classes,
their grades get down.
But being in love at this age also has a positive side.
Adolescents feel happier and their life is complete.
This is the best feeling a teenager can experience.
However when a relationship is over, they feel very bad psycologically,
as it happened to me.
At first life was terrible
but at the moment
I’m feeling better.
